could be pipping!

With the heating pad, I've managed to keep the temp at 99° & humidity at 73%. Id say that's mighty fine ^_^ duckie 2 is still cozy in its shell, taking its time. Watched it poke more of the shell. Think it'll emerge by tomorrow :)

Awesome news, seems they like to keep us waiting, that's why I like letting my ducks hatch their own all i have to do is go look and there they are. only one time i had to help and I thought I'd have a nervous breakdown took over 3 days. whew. duckling/egg was still under mama duck. Looking good! how about the rest any movement of pipping yet?

How your hatching? you need to keep the temp up and humidity down, if you can get it down to 65 that would be good 75 is REALLY pushing it..
In the water fowl incubation guide it says 65-75% humidity I' believe i'll go check to make sure

Pete Quoted"I try to lower the temperature about 0.5C and increase the humidity to 65-75% (lockdown)."
I'm not an experienced hatcher either just reading what Pete wrote in the water fowl hatching guide.
