Could Dumor feed be made by purina and then just packaged differently?

Different areas of the country have different feeds available so we have to use what is available. I could go to a local mill and have my feed mixed and pay $20.00 a bag. My poultry does very well on what I buy at TSC so why mess with a good thing. Plus being an employee has its perks

And I have not heard anything about TSC discontinuing Dumor at the start of the new year. That would be very detrimental to the sales of feed at TSC stores nationwide. You cannot condemn all TSC stores bc of the actions and feed handling of a few.!!

I've been feeding Dumor 20% to all the birds, alternating lay mash from our local feed mill for the adults. All the birds have been doing great on it. Sure hope they don't discontinue it. Never had a moldy bag of feed from TSC.

I apologize because that wasn't the real subject of the thread, but whether Dumor is made by Purina and I do think it is. I don't buy Purina feeds other than on rare occasions the game bird feeds because I prefer animal protein in my feed (as well as more cost effective feed).



I currently buy from the local county co-op who sells Tucker Milling feeds as well as ADM Alliance. I have used Buckeye feed and would again if someone closer to me carried it. Tucker Milling feeds have porcine protein in them, never been dusty or moldy so for now, that is my preferred brand.

I've gone back and forth between Purina and Dumor due to TSC constantly running out of chicken feed. The few differences I've noticed is the poo smell with Dumor and that it has a noticeable smell out of the bag (not bad). They like them equally but will burn though the Dumor a week faster than the Purina.

They are definitely not the same feed here.
