Could I make this my coop?

I have this same one inside a secure building that I put one bantam Cochin hen in to set on eggs. When one goes broody that is a good size. I know others that put breeding pairs in it with bantams only. I believe the more space the better but a broody bantam hen does not need much room.
And like the others said, it doesn't hold up in weather or to a predator.

no no no thats a piece of garbage, you can build something nice for alot less money that will hold up, here is what I built out of what I had lying around, it tuned out so nice, I starterd selling them for $300 and people love them they are great for a trio, an outside second stage brooder or for bantams, you could get about 6 in there so your two would be in hog heaven

Jeb, would you be able to ship your coop to CA? How much would that be? Or do you have plans with a list of materials?

Its a good looking coop!

I have one of those. I bought it on Craiglist for $60. Then I converted it to make it more predator proof.

I do use it for nighttime lockup only for up to a trio of bantam cochins. But they go in at dark and come out in the morning. I have it in an open carport type area in my garage, so it is not totally exposed to the elements. I have the floor and ramp bolted shut and would do the same to the roof if I did not keep heavy things (other carrier) on top of it. It is not very sturdy but workable. I use it more for iso or temporary lockup than anything else.

For the same trio of bantam cchins, I built this coop and attached run instead. Not sure on total cost yet, definitely under $200 for entire thing. Probably could do it for $100 if you were careful or recycled.

Way too pricey! You can build for a whole lot less.

And don't think you can't do it! I build a bunch of tractors and NellaBean built hers by herself.
With that kind of money you could even hire some local people to build for you and get more space for your money. You know you will need it. You won't have just 2! They are like potato chips, you know! Or in my case, chocolate chip cookies.

Problem is... I have never built a thing in my life and do not have any tools (except for the basic hammer and screwdriver set) The coops that I see on craigslist in my area are made out of particle board and look terrible! I am trying to do the best I can for the lack of options I have with living in "The OC"

okay a great place to go for parts that are pretty easy to assemble would be the habitat for humanity restore. cheap and easy! we had very few tools and went to the restore got every thing we needed and a buch more for under 40 bucks. check it out.
