Well let me tell you that last year was our first time raing chickens, the feed mill sold us a straight run of white rocks and we never lost one and the guy that did the killing said he never seen chickens that big...he called them monster birds...i gave a couple away and the people thought they were turkeys. and i can tell you that my numbers are most definitely not off thank you very much

It wasn't me questioning your numbers . I believe your feed mill sold you hybrid meat chicks and called them white rocks . I sometimes used to hear people refer to their cornish rocks as white rocks . To feed them out to those weights without major losses to flip and broken legs is phenomal ; but under great conditions and with some luck doable in a 10 week period if you get a good strain and healthy batch of hybrid chicks . Congrats

i raise leghorn roos together 100 at a time in pen they been crowin since they were 2 months old no problems

Added! I read the whole thread... I suspect they were the X meaties... which is not a bad thing. Still yours were grand in size. I guess I wil order the Cornish X and give the guys and gals an air conditioner!
