There are weigh tapes for various classes of livestock. Someone gave me one for my goats. I never found the things to be accurate. However, in this case his actual weight is not nearly as important as his condition. One thing you might try is to get a tape measure around his middle right behind his front legs. Record the measurement and then measure again every two weeks or so. You might try this when he is busy eating.

Look at it this way. He didn't get fat overnight and he isn't going to get down to a proper weight overnight either. I am glad you are making progress. I am so proud of you.
