I think they are a little confused. This cat is like this everyday. All my cats sleep in the coop during the day eat layer pellets and drink from the chickens water the cats will also eat scratch.
The chickens eat the cat food and drink from the cats water. Whats next??

One of my barn cats has bonded with the chickens. She eats the layer feed, drinks out of their waterer, naps in their nest boxes, etc. Sometimes I'll see her rub herself on a chicken, and the chicken will be like "What are you doing? Get OFF me!" I even once saw her sharing a small nest box with my hen "Blue Bell." The chickens will freak out if any other cats come with me inside their pen, but they don't mind "Jemimah" (until she starts rubbing on them LOL!).

I just hope that Jemimah never figures out that the brown round things in the nest boxes are actually quite tasty.
