Could my hens have a disease ?

Red skin typically means mites or lice, sweep your hand under the roosts or nest boxes, if it comes out red, its mites. Get some permrethrine poultry dust, clean everything out and dust everywhere.

Ok just checked and nothing but chicken poop. We treated them for about a month for mites

Can you take a picture of what you're calling normal hen food and a picture of the higher protein feed that you bought? The bags of feed.


What exactly did you use to treat mites?


Lash eggs are not normal and are caused by an infection. Do you feed treats?

Also- two of the hens are completely fine. No bald spots or red skin- I’m thinking if it was a disease or mites, they’d all have bald spots ??
