Could my one Molly be Pregnant? Any Ideas on what this fish is?

she said she wasnt keeping the goldfish in with the tropical's..

Yes I know. I don't believe I implied anything about the goldfish with the tropicals in this post?

Mollys do not require a heater (contrary to popular opinion). Go to http://www.fishbase.us/search.php and read particulars about thousands of fish species. They do however need a LOT bigger tank. The Goldie could probably stay with the Mollys if you had a 30 g or (preferably) larger tank, neither need heaters. Those algae eaters are flat MEAN and you should find someone else to take him. He'll harass your other fish like crazy. A Betta could live in that 5 g tank you have alone or with a few mystery snails. Don't mix male and female Bettas though because the boys will kill the girls. But a Betta needs around 80 degrees.
A male Molly has a very pointed fin underneath at the bottom, a female has a rounded fin underneath. I can't really tell from any of your pictures.
Now on to read the other answers

Edit: If the Goldie is panting your tank probably isn't cycled, or cycled well enough for the added fish load. Nitrate poisoning will make them do that as will ammonia poisoning. Join up at AquariaCentral.com Tons of good information.
Also-yes, you can find used tanks for cheap or free. I've got a 130 g with stand and a couple 55 gal tanks sitting on my porch that I would GIVE away if someone would come get them.

I haven't read the feedback on this thread so I appoligize if this was already said:

Surprisingly, Mollies give live birth. Yep you got that right! No eggs! Boy did that surprise me!

My brother used to have a molly and one day, he found a tiny baby fish swimming around the tank and then before you knew it Pop! Out came another one... and another.... and another. 15 baby fish later! We formed some old screen into a cup shape and we attached it to the top of the tank. This was to seperate the baby fish from the other fish as the other fish would eat them. So everyday he fed the baby fish small crumbs of fish food. They lived a while but they ended up escaping the net/screen and got eaten.

) I know someone who wants my algae eater, so he has a home!! I went to the pet store where my mom got the fish, the tank the mollies were in is mainly boys, so do you think that more than likely my two girls are pregnant??? I am looking at getting a used 20 Gallon for them ( mollies and female Betta ) My mom was thinking of a 10 Gallon for her Moor, will that be big enough? Someone told me my live plant could be causing issues to, is that true? Should I take it out?

Ksane I wish you were closer!! I can't find a reasonably priced tank anywhere!!

Live plants shouldnt cause problems but if you are unsure of what it is and if it is rotting take it out and get new ones, live plants are better than plastic ones, Plastic ones tend to rip fins, especially betta fins, Crypts of any sort are good low light plants, betta bulbs aswell, do some reasearch into low light plants and see if you can find any, betta like to hide in plants

my tank has dwarf hair grass and 2 types of crypts in it.

the site you suggested to look up the molly even says they require certain water tempreatures, may not apply to natrually warm all year round climate. http://www.fishbase.us/summary/Poecilia-sphenops.html

? I'm not sure what you're getting at. I just stated they don't need a heater, the link you posted shows a Molly range from 64-82. I can't imagine them needing a heater as few people's houses get down under 64 degrees in the winter.

I get that but some climates may need a heater in other times of the year when it doesn't reach that temp, here summer can get to about 100F yet the water is still frigid cold in the goldfish tank. i still have to heat my betta tank so its at the proper temperature even though my house gets pretty warm in summer time, which it is starting to get about 85F during the day here.
