Could my rooster be sick?

Hi,
Yesterday I noticed my roosters 'crow' was not sounding the same. He almost sounds hoarse and like he's hitting the wrong notes, as if he's learning to play a musical instrument, and it sounds quite jarring (and funny...poor fella!) I'm wondering if he could have a cold? Or something worse?
Has anyone else had this same experience and know what's going on.

Hello! Hmm, I am by no means an expert, maybe some kind of respiratory infection? I'm not completely sure.
