I
try to recycle bedding to keep prices down--and I wonder if such a fork would work or does anyone use such for their poultry bedding.

It is said to work great for sifting horse poop from the bedding, in order to extend the life of the bedding and thus save 'moolah'.

So, does anyone use or...........

I used to pick out the muscovy 'meatballs' (sometimes they were 'patties'

) from the coop when I had just three ducks, but now I've got 25 meatball makers.

I use wood shaving bedding.

I ask cuz I don't wanna throw away 25 bucks or whatever.............

You know, I was going to order the Dura Fork from Farmtek months ago, but I didn't - I worried that it wouldn't work very well, and then I'd have wasted my money.

Hopefully someone else will post, and then we'll know if it's worth the money!

The poop from scovy and standard-sized ducks I think is bigger than chx poop--at least in my limited chx. experience.

Some of those meatballs are pretty big!

You might try to find one that is for miniature horses as the tines are closer together. I have 2, one for my mini and one in the chicken coop.

Thank you, Feather!

Re. the dog poop scoop. Thank you, but they do not allow one to SIFT an ample supply of bedding, straining the poop out of the bedding--more or less--at the same time.

Not really the tool for the job.

But truly, thank you!
