Could really use some advice I have 6 ducks

It really is all mine are straight run I thought I was lucky to only get 2 boys and living in city limits were only allowed 7 where I live so I can't get anymore its sad I'm attached to all of them. I really am having a hard time even deciding.

If it was me i would find the one you hve seperated a home first, since you have already seen him be too rough with the girls.
If the other ones grows up as the single male with the girls maybe he will stay calm and not too rough since he wont have male competition around..
but since you already know the oldest male was mating too much i would say he is the best to find a new home.
I personally didnt want any males, because i just hate watching all the breeding.
Lots if people dont mind since its all normal and natural, but i dont like it.
I advertized on my craigslist and was able to find a home very quickly. It was very sad to hand him over, i couldnt think about it. But im glad i did it for all my girl ducks

I feel the same way about the mating I don't like it , it looks to rough I don't want to see it and I separated the male as soon as I saw it, he prefers one female right now. I didn't realize this would be so hard I feel bad about the whole thing. Thank you for the advice and understanding.

I know, i dont think i could ever get used to it.
It will be hard, but i think you will be relieved once you do it. I know i was. Once i got back home and didnt have to worry about what i will do with the boys. And knew i had girls that i can keep for years to come. They are so much fun to have and so relaxing to sit and watch.

Thanks again I'll probably re home the males and just keep the females, I was wondering though I bought mine in pairs each are a month apart. So will the girls be ok even if they were raised with the boys. Thanks again
