Meet Nugget. She is a larger bird, we figure about 5 to 6 years old. She is very quiet and unless spooked is very docile. She lays large white eggs more often than not with double yolks. She is wonderful and was given to me by a friend but I really have no idea what she may be. EE? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh and she prefers corn and sunflower seeds 🙂

From the looks of the image the eggs look like they could be a very pale green. You can lay them on top of a piece of white paper to see if there is any color to them.
Yes my bad the colour in the picture is misleading they are both white. The small one is a large egg from the grocery store. I almost checked the coop for a raptor the first day she laid. I have 2 others that lay blue/ green but that one is for sure white.

I have an EE that lays white double yolkers almost every time for me too. She’s almost 4 and still lays 4-5 days a week, rarely not a double yolker. Nice to know there are others that do that too!
She is very nice. I got her from a friend who breeds exotic birds and keeps chickens for eggs. I guess I would be considered her *Retirement home* I'm not actually a huge fan of eggs...I may hide now, that may not be a popular opinion here hahah. They are more of a pet than a source of eggs to me. It really is cool to know there are others like her. Thanks!
