Thank you! I see what you mean that the dark areas look like mottling. My bird’s legs are darker but the bottoms of her feet are yellow/white. I just had a broody hen hatch some chicks hatch from this pair and some have all yellow legs. I really don’t have a clear understanding of leg color genetics.
