Could this be a frizzle?

These are my newest additions. Buff silkie bantams I believe. I bought all 8 that were left at TSC. The feathers are looking sort of curly/twisty to me on the wings. Any insight for me?

The one in the pic is a white silkie. Congrats on the babies!! He/she is cute! I got some silkies from tractor supply too.

silkies wings look like that i dont think it is a frizzle.

the thing i am concerned about is that it does not have a crest they should have at least a little lump

Hatchery silkies often do not have much in the way of crests/foot feathering.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm new to silkies so I'm learning as I go. I have noticed that some have crests or puffs that are a little larger than the others. I have had 2 with curled toes. I of them didn't make it. The other is fine and dandy so we'll see what happens. Now to get the mud in the yard to dry out so my fluffy babies can stay white.

X 2 I have a hatchery bred silkie hen that has no crest. I also have silkies from private breeders with crest and beards so large all you can see is the tip of their beak. That's the difference in pet quality and show quality.
