Our babies from Tractor Supply are now 10 weeks old. I am wondering what a few of them are. One of the pullets is gorgeous! She is black and a golden color! The roo (we are looking for a new home if anyone is local) is a sweetheart and I think a Seabright?????? We also have this little girl who is the size of a robin. She is silvery colored. We have not a clue what she is - thought maybe a pencil laced wyandotte but not positive. She is extremely friendly and my son's favorite. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The first picture is a pullet.....?

Your oegb pullet is the most beautiful, graceful bird I've seen. She has that delicate, sweet, dove-like quality to her. What a charming gal!!! Enjoy. Your other two are beautiful too. Lucky you! I wish I lived close by.

Thank you - now to find a home for our Seabright Roo. (he's 10 weeks old) If anyone knows of anyone close to CT please let them know....to a good home though. We already have 2 Roos and not being free range I am afraid of "bad" behavior

and bad neighbors. I could put him with the "big" girls and hope for the best but not sure how that will go.

I really made out well with TSC. Along with the 2 Seabrights and the OEG....I got 4 white silkies and 2 other Seabrights (that went to a good home). I don't know who they get their birds from. I could probably find out...would be interesting to see. This was our first time buying from them because we have always hatched our own.

On that note...how do you tell if a silkie is a roo?
