could this be a silkie egg?

It's super small beside a BSL egg. Not sure who's laying this. Could it be my 27wk old silkie is out performing my 5 BO'S who have not laid yet?

It's a Silkie egg for sure. I can't believe she started laying before my orpingtons. I know they generally lay later but I mean a silkie beat them to lay. I'm puzzled. All are 27 weeks 2 days old.

I'm pretty sure my silkie started laying again today. She's been brooding chicks and I just put her back in the main coop 4 days ago. She's a spring 14 bird, so I really wasn't expecting her to start laying again until spring. Sometimes they surprise you

Definitely a silkie egg! My two girls are going strong this winter without extra lighting. I'm a proud momma!
