Could this be an Exchequer Leghorn?

Here is a pic of my Exchequer I got from another BYC member.

I know mine keeps getting more black in her as time goes by. She has been laying for a few months now, her comb doesn't fall over much. I would have to go look closer, but I don't think mine has bright yellow legs like feathersites pic.

I don't think yours looks like an ancona - it looks like the E. leghorn to me. Both the anconas and the leghorns have yellow legs - the different colored legs yours is probably because it's from a hatchery. She's very pretty.

I was reading up on the breeding of Exchequer Leghorns and it seems the speckled legs are a hard trait to keep out of Exchequers. Also, the color seems to come with the price of lesser laying ability than the traditional leghorn. I guess she is just a hatchery quality Exchequer Leghorn. I have noticed her comb has really grown just lately which was shortly before she started laying. The last few days she has laid everyday. Guess she was a late bloomer...

She still has personality!
