, but my biddies had the icky pale reddish whatever looking poo ever now and then so now I know that's normal. I did worm the whole flock just because I was not for sure at the time. Thanks again!

Chickenmonk, at least one of my chickens is experiencing exactly the same kind of bloody-but-encapsulated feces problem right now. Since some of my girls came from VERY questionable pasts and arrived in less than stellar condition, I have decided to worm them all with the Eprinex. I am guessing that none of my nineteen birds has ever been wormed before. I'm balking at the price as well, but hoping that it doesn't have a short shelf life and can be used again in the future. I wish that I had a cattle-farming friend that I could buy a small amount from as needed!
