Could we have a rooster?

We have a splash Marans who's supposedly a hen, but we're becoming concerned that she may in fact be a rooster. She's very sweet and we got her when she was probably 10+ weeks old. She's grown much faster than our other hens and her comb and wattles have grown especially fast (especially compared to our others, although they're all different breeds and these are our first chickens so it's hard to me to really compare). Today my parents said they heard her making some not quite hen-like noises (I haven't heard it so I don't know if it was actual crowing).

Could she be a rooster?

'She' looks like 'she' was more like 10 weeks old when you got 'her'. There is some distinctly male only feathering on the neck of that bird in the more recent photos. It's a cockerel.

So it's not even worth hoping she's just a very masculine hen?

She probably was older. We forgot to ask about their ages when we got them so I'm pretty sure our youngest was 5 weeks and another who was only slightly bigger was sold as 6-10 weeks, so the two that were bigger we're assuming were more than 10 weeks when we got them.

They weren't more than 10 weeks, they were probably just boys. There is a noticeable size difference between pullets and cockerels by 8 to 10 weeks old.
