I've tried the Polish Orloff cross too... we call them Porloffs

This year I'm keeping them at 1/2 and 1/2 and just inbreeding them, weeding out unwanted heterozygous traits (like the vaulted skull) and then setting in color families. Cuban Longtails is helping me out and breeding some for me from her stock so I'll have genetic diversity.

This guy is 1/2 Polish and 1/2 RIR

nice lokin crosses fowlafoot. did you use buff lace? its interesting that the markings are somewhat similar to the ones I had. would put pics up of the males but i only have video of them. mine were Tollbunt over Orloff.

I only have the Polish in bearded buff laced so that's what I had to use

I was excited to see someone else crossed them too! Starting with this springs hatch I should start getting some pure laced and pure spangled... so I'll have to decide what direction I want to go

I am interested in the looks of the many french breeds of chickens that look like half polish. I was curious how easy it would be to construct my own. How do the polish cross behave, egg laying, broody?
