This Chicken came to our yard and would not leave so I started feeding her. She is sweet and pretty and eats all our walnuts. Does anyone know what breed of chicken she is.?

I love her and I'm keeping her. I use to have chickens but only this one now.

No idea on the breed, but boy is she pretty! If she is a Dun-Laced Orp, she's considered extremely rare and expensive. Her owners are probably looking for her. Losing a bird of such caliber must be... something. Do you have more pictures

I looked for her owner, we live out in the country and far between houses. I now have her in a coop at night. I leave here free range during the day but shut her in at night. I feed her crumbles and she loves walnuts and bread, snails and garden bugs. She's a love and very intelligent. She's not like my laying hens were. She does lay brown eggs. She was hungry when she first came up about a month ago and did not lay eggs for about a week but now I am getting one a day. I love her I call her FooFoo.

She’s definitely an Orpington, and a good quality one too. I’m thinking she’s a blue silver laced. No idea why someone would dump her.
