Countdown for me is over First egg!!!

Well here it is just into the 20th week and today I found our first egg. It was layed on the floor of the coop. I have since then added straw both to coop and nest box and put a perch in front of box. Egg was small and a nice light brown. Flash went off so it looks white.



Here it is open. Our dog got the first one in her food. She is so spoiled. Real nice orange color. Our chickens free range all day.
