Oh dear!

My babies were able to reach the cord for their heat lamp today and pulled it down by trying to eat the cord. Oh no... they are getting so big!

I ended up turning off their lamp and turning off the A/C in the room, which should be fine since I'm in Florida and it's 75ish outside which means it'll be like 85 in the room...

Just wait, mine have realized they are tall enough to reach up on the side tables in the yard and steal stuff so far they have nabbed: chips, half a banana, the bag of meal worms I totally though was completely out of their reach, and I swear they have a special "Wahhahahahah Im getting away with things!" quack

have you tried mamma heating pad?

I tried the heating pad method before discovering my heating pad was a 2-hour automatic shut off. and I've had no money to buy an expensive one that stays on :-(

I felt grown up feathers on Quackers, I'm pretty sure! His feathers on his belly felt rough and different than his feathers anywhere else. If they're his adult feathers, is he older than suspected?
