Countdown to Ducklings! [a Journal]

I called FWC to talk to them. They cleared it up for me. Stated we do need a Permit, it is free. But they are more lenient on it since most breeders and stores do not tell the customers they need a permit. Also to fill out the form for wild type even if a domestic. The questionnaire asks what they eat in the wild etc..

Yeah I had no idea, almost ordered Cayuga's but the website I was ordering from recognized I was in Florida and refused to ship here. I had that happen when I tried to order Dubia Roaches for my Bearded Dragon which told me "illegal," so I looked it up.

Also does anyone have a guide for making duck diapers? I'd like to not buy any until they're fully grown, but I'd love some for them when they're a baby. I saw a video that just had some cloth wrapped around the bum of their duck, but I'd be afraid of them getting clogged up.

Are you ready for a picture spam???

Also, they were born May 12th!

As you can see, Quackers still has a hurt foot :-( I am going to be treating with Niacin and Apple Cider Vinegar in the water. Any other suggestions? The vet told them it was just a bruise now, the blood blister is gone.

Here's a picture (warning, it's gross, so I'll link it): https://i.imgur.com/JYrYdEK.jpg
