Maidenwolf, I don't know how you handle such cuteness....I would be carrying them around and spoiling them rotten with cuddles lol...I know we aren't supposed to overdue it with the handling...its going to be so difficult!

Sally it is hard to not pick them up. I sit in th ebathroom with my hand down in the box talking to them and my husband just laughs at me lol. They come running when I use my finger to peck at the food,,, SO STINKING CUTE!!!

Hey maiden do you have pictures of your coonhound ? I've got a female we adopted from a shelter they said she was a Black and Tan coonhound puppy....seven years later...she looks like a mix of rottie but we love her.

My husband is away during the week for work but he is going to make fun of me...he already does. I give him plenty of material. He just tells me they cannot end up as house pets .

Getting a pretty big variety from Ideal. I'd been wanting chickens for awhile and kept getting shot down. Then I showed the boss of the house some pics and she had ordered 22 chicks the next day. 14 standards (about 7 varieties) and 8 silkies I believe. About to go upcycle some pallets into a brooder and then I should be good to go. Once that's done, I have to start deciding on my run and look into some dog training...

We are going to be first time chicken owners next week too!!! It's like Christmas around here. We ordered 6 females and 1 male from the rare breed assortment at my pet chicken.

I ordered 25 chicks from privett and picked them up from the po today. I got 26 and all doing great! My tablet wont let me upload pics but i got 12 barred rock 7 silkies (blue) and 6 welsummers!
