How old are they? They both look like pullets to me.

Well I got them as hatchlings and I've had them for about 2 months so I'd say about 2.5 months

A young rooster RIR would be getting the darker feathers around the neck and have a bigger comb by that age. Yours are similar, so I'm sticking with pullets on them.
