couple of questions about my very handsome guy

First off can someone tell me what breed he may be... I've searched everywhere but I'm not so sure, he's pretty small and already going on a year old

Second,he started off as a very well behaved young roo and very protective of his girls.. as he got older he stopped letting my kids and husband come close to the girls. He'd peck them if they'd get too close. Only I could come close to him and the girls and hold them.. eventually it got to the point where WE couldn't come outside without having to worry about him attacking us! Randomly!

What could have caused for him to start acting this way toward us? & is there a way I can maybe correct this? (I currently have him in a pin alone)

#1 Breed looks is an Andalusian or Mincora, get those mixed up.
#2 His roster habits are kicking in, he is being more protective of his flock.

No idea on the breed but roosters can grow aggressive rather quickly and it all has to do with hormones. You can try standing up to him and not retreating. It’s a 50/50 thing though and sometimes it can’t be corrected.
