I never get tired of spending time with my babies! I love watching them for hours and they all still come up and sit on my lap.

Here's my all time nicest hen, she's an Ameraucana and her name is Blueberry

Here's a chick I hatched myself. A blue Ameraucana. I hatched for a friend. :)

Here's my beautiful Ameraucana rooster I just let go. I really miss him. He wouldn't leave the coop and was too submissive. He went to a good home.

I hope I'll have another rooster soon. I need a sky watcher. I have 18 more blue Wheaten Ameraucana's in the incubator due to hatch this week. Here are the first 9. I don't have an updated photo of the others since it's lockdown. I absolutely love the color of these eggs! I'm praying they hatch!

Thank you. The lady that bought my rooster says she really likes him, which I'm very glad. I really do miss him.

My set up isn't cool enough for him to stay in the run or coop for the summer heat until our trees grow tall enough for natural shade, we have plenty man made shade, but it's a furnace in there midday in the heat of the summer. I need the flock to free range and take refuge in the woods where I can run constant cool water. My husband refuses to air condition our coop.lol

I'm hoping to hatch another rooster that will watch over our flock for hawks and I I've 16 eggs in the incubator now.

I just hatched 6 more yesterday and early this morning(2:30am). Since I broke my neck a few years back and live in incredible pain, the chickens keep me motivated and moving! I spend a good part of my day with them.

I love this breed and egg color!
