I am new to worming and I have a couple questions before I start to use it so I don't harm the birds. I am going to use Ivermectin by putting it in the water. My first question is how old do you start to worm the chicks and do you still give them 3cc per gallon of water? Second: What times of year do you worm the adult birds, I know before laying season. Third: How many times/days do you give them the wormer each time? And lastly How do you know they are getting enough of the wormer when drinking it? Thanks and Sorry for all the questions.

Another question..or what do you guys use for wormers? I have found Wazine wormer hear at my house but I don't know how much to use, does anybody have any insight?
Thanks again

I use safeguard for goats. 3cc to a gallon of water for 3 days. Be sure it is the only water your birds can drink each day. Then 14 days later I use Ivermectin pour on 1cc directly on the skin on the base of the neck. Only about half will actually be absorbed in the skin, the rest will be in the feathers.

I worm twice a year, some do it 3 times. I do it end of March and then the end of September. I give the chicks wormer when I place them inside the shed or once they hit the ground

While they are in the grow out pen, they are off the ground. When I release them from the pen they are wormed a few days later.
Those are the ones I have
