Coyote attack! Need advice!

You are a good person, love has many faces. I just don't want you to fall into the same trap that I did. Little baby chicks, to teen pullets to adult hens. So much love they have shown. My flock so far has cost me 12,000$ in total. Yes trapped! Yep... Fanatic!

Oh boy. I’m just getting started and I’ve already spent about $2000. Bout to spend more to make the pen bigger since I can’t bear to let them free range any more :/

IDE go coyote hunting! Might be cheaper to remove the danger? You can borrow
My m14
My boyfriend has tried to get them the last 3 years cause they are messing with his deer hunting but they’re tricky critters to hunt I guess. I would have hit it with my car if it wasn’t for that darn corn field.

I have used peroxide on wounds (only for the first few days) then just watch her. Make she they are getting plenty of protein!! That is how she will heal. There are sprays you can get too. If there is a lot of blood you may have to cover it up because red catches a chickens eye and the other may make it worse by pecking. Chickens are very hardy and I have seen a few jump back when I was ready to put them down. Watch her demeanor .. is she herself? eating? moving around? interested in scratching around still?
