coyote crossing

I have a love/hate relationship with coyotes myself..They are beautiful animals except when there is a pack of them killing my chickens..Had it happen once not too long ago..New front gates, and stronger wire and they have not been back...But I hear them every night..

Of course, it's not just their "singing", it's the whole dog experience that goes along with it - the whining, barking, jumping on the bed to look out the window, then off the bed to run to the door to whine some more, then back on the bed - you get the picture. And just when the dogs would settle back down to sleep, the coyotes would start up again. I think it was their evil plan to get me so tired I would forget to lock up the chickens at night so they could have a feast, but it never worked.

As to it being safe to get out of the car, the poor guy was trapped. They actually had to pry off part of the car to release him. Poor, sad coyote

But now living the good life in California
