Will coyote urine keep raccoons away from my chicken coop?

Not for long; raccoons are too smart to be repelled by lights, waving things, or scents for long. Having a safe coop and run, and no feed outside, are the best things to do. Then trap and shoot repeat visitors, especially if they try to break in. Mary

Thank you. I won't waste my money then. The coop is safe when they are closed up at night but I think my run needs some work for when they go out in the day.

Probably not, but might bring other coyotes in.

Once a raccoon finds a food source, there is little that will disway their attentions...unless of course the coyote were standing right there by the coop.

I would recommend trapping on a regular basis to keep the raccoons at bay.
