Coyotes caught in the act... Any tips?

If you post for RESPONSIBLE hunters and interview a few on craigslist, I am certain you will have folks who will rid you of your problem. I help out a couple of farmers south of here who lose calves to coyotes. Put right in the post that you prefer NRA members and if your area issues concealed weapons permits, then the holder has ABSOLUTELY had a federal background check done, and they get very intensive about that background check, so you will have a much better chance of getting a law abiding responsible citizen. Just an option.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Apparently one of the farms were in the same boat as me and they did use their gun. I spoke with the owner of the land behind me and he told me that they were planning to be out more watching/hunting coyotes as the coyotes have been successful at getting into their chickens. Also apparently my property has been over run with tall grass for a long time and the area where our coop is is pretty close to where the coyotes had been using as a passage between the farms. Since we have moved here all that tall grassy area is cleared and being used. So I guess we will be cautious and see what happens for now... If they come back to that area I will definitely look into electric fencing.

when that tall grassy area gets tall again it is fairly easy to find the trails they are using after that it is fairly east to trap and dispose of them.
