Cracked beak?

went to check on my chickens yesterday and noticed each of them had a little wound on their beak, looks like between the nostrils but I’m not expert…I’ve raised chickens my whole life and have never seen this. Some chickens have a worse looking wound than others but they all have it to some degree…Help!!!

Post pictures. What breed? Some things can be genetic or they could have just injured themselves, but more than one is interesting. Post several pictures of different chicks and different angles. Can they eat and drink?

This is what I have right now, i took these pictures 6/11 which is when I noticed them
3 brahmas and 2 Americanas
Will take more when I go check on them again after breakfast and upload more pictures

that’s really odd! It almost looks like an injury. Check your coop and run for screws and nails that are sticking out, loose wires etc. do you ever notice them pecking each other? Another suggestion, (this is kinda odd to hear) but I would just sit and watch from the sidelines for a while and watch their behaviors, if there’s one that picks on them, if they are going after something etc. what are their food and water containers like? Could they be injuring themselves trying to get something?

I usually sit and watch them a lot and have not noticed any pecking behavior but I will continue to watch and evaluate the coop today, thank you for the helpful information!! Their feeders are the normal feeders I’ve been using for ages…
