cracked egg, HELP

Just went out to check on my broody hen sitting on 4 eggs. Stupid me picked up an egg & my hen turned to peck me and got the egg instead. She cracked it and the 20 day egg has a live chick inside. I returned it to mom but now i worry she'll smother it. Advice plkease!

If it's 20 days it should start to hatch anytime. Just be patient

Hatched & healthy! Unfortunately a crow (or something) has taken 1 of my other chicks. I'm heartbroken!!
