One of my eggs was cracked -- just a small crack, on the large end near the air cell. It did not injure the membrane and is only a hairline crack, very small. However the air cell is growing really fast now. I am wondering whether I should incubate this egg at a higher relative humidity, and whether that would help at all? I repaired the crack with clear nail polish immediately. Any advice would be much much appreciated!

Also, I just read an article that mentioned that improperly repaired cracks can result in too much moisture loss. I'm going to go put another coat of nail polish on it... I probably didn't put enough as I was paranoid about it being toxic. Bah.

Use candle wax over polish melt drops over the crack
