Cracked egg saftey

Yesterday when I collected an egg I noticed it had some hairline cracks around an area that looked pecked, but but clear through. I refrigerated it without washing it. I was wondering if it is safe to use in a recipe today. Tia!

I normally throw out any that have cracks. You may be okay if the membrane is still intact.

If you do decide to use it make sure the recipe gets up to 160º through and through....

If I personally crack an egg, I may use it immediately, cooked. If I find a cracked egg, it gets thrown out.
