I also read on another forum that people have stuck another piece of egg shell over a crack before. Not sure what adhesive or how successful than can be though. Good luck!

Funny, I read this yesterday and right before setting my eggs today I discovered one of mine had a crack very similar to yours. Put some clear nail polish on as well since I don't think I have any wax lying around. Hoping it develops!
