I have made my own chicken breed come look solid black game size chickens with large white muffs. Really cool looking and only 2 in the world a hen and rooster. $100

8 silkies left 10 days old $6 each

6 buff orphingtons 2 weeks old $6 each

A few mixed colored marans pullets 4 months old $20 each

10 or so amerucuna pullets $15 each 4 months old

In the incubator I have barred rocks, cuckoo marans, pearl guineas, India blue peacocks. Deposits by PayPal

Sounds like a cross with a game and a black polish or something.

Here's my... "Ohio Pochin" chicks... White Cochin rooster over a black Polish hen. LOL They didn't get the white crest. Now, if you took these, and put them with something bearded... you could in theory have feathers growing every where! Crested, bearded, booted, AND with round fluffy Cochin tails.

Not a real project, these eggs came from a friend just for fun.

You asked how can someone make a new breed and only have two and I'm agreeing with you. You have to make more and make sure they breed true to try to make it an official breed.
