I have noticed on Craigs list that NO ONE lists the breeds of their roosters. I am looking for specific breeds and have to call or contact everyone and 90% don't know!!

I once knew a boy who looked at our chickens and asked why some were black, some were yellow, and some black-and-white. I tried to explain to him that there were breeds of chickens, just like there are dog breeds but he did not understand!

She did not deserve chickens. She might accidentally kill them from neglect, disease, etc.
(I am assuming this because you said 'hatch date') Besides, they were eggs! If you name a egg, Correct me if I am wrong, I don't think it will respond to it when it hatches.
