I love the chicks that hatched out, and I got fantastic hatch rates both times. First time I got Blue Marans and BCM's from him, and the second time I got Blue Marans and Showgirls. I got 5 of 8 to hatch the second time with the Marans, and 4 of 7 with the Showgirls. With his first batch I got 8 of out of the 15 eggs he sent to hatch, so his hatch rate is terrific and the chicks are so big and healthy. I just love them to pieces. His eggs are worth the risk, they really are.

I have 6 of his eggs in the incubator right now we will see come next friday/saturday.. how they hatch

lol. if they don't hatch i will be opening to see where along the lines they stopped or never started. wish me luck

i have 10 of my own eggs in there and everyone is developing so i know it's working on my eggs. and since i *can't* see in the BCM eggs.. i just hafta wait LOL but he does package great and they arrived beautifully.. no cracks in the eggs at all. and just about everytime i get my eggs shipped to me i have at least one or two that are cracked(if not smashed beyond recognition)

Would anyone be interested in getting some chickes shipped to them. I have BCM and soem sex link in the bator now. I would like to start shipping chicks this year so I would like to take a few test runs to perfect it. I am not going to be charging alot for them. I am thinking half of what I normally get my my chicks here so 5 each for the BCM and say 1.00 for the sex links. The sex links are black and red and I have a few pure RIR as well.. ( I have a RIR roo with RIR hens, barred hens and RIW hens)

I would just like to the shipping,box ect to be covered. If my math is right, the boxes are costing me about 7 each and I am guessing is USPS Priority mail and the weight of the chicks. I do not know how many I will have avail as I am keep some as replacements for mine just in case anything happens to the BCM hens and roos. I would like to ship a few BCM and Sex links in the box so I can do two or three shippments. I am hoping to ship 6-8 in each box. The boxes will have some hay in them along with an half apple for water and food for the trip.

The chicks are due to hatch in about 2.5 weeks so I have to get this lined up. Also, I am NPIP as well.

Please let me know.

Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth--I hatched 5 of 7 BCM eggs from Erik and 11 of 13 gold laced polish from sutillman in Georgia. Those are 2 of the 3 best hatches I've ever had from shipped eggs. Sounds like the southern USPS scrambles those headed to KY, Shelley!
