My flock is from Peachick's lines. Two girls are directly from her 2011 breeding pens and the other three girls and my roo were hatched from her eggs. I am hatching feathered legs occasionally (6 out of over 50 chicks). I was told that it could be because this color originated from Salmon Faverolles and the two girls from her may have been her 2nd generation birds.
So far all of my birds have lost their leg sprigs by 12wks.
Dorian does have a beard but the girls don't seem to like him with it.

I take care in packaging my eggs the way I want them packaged. That means I wrap each egg individually in bubble wrap, place them big end pointing up in a lined box and tape it shut. I then put that box in another box and fill whatever space around the small box with peanuts or newspaper. I mark the out side of the box with "This Side Up", "Fragile" and "Live Embryos".
