How soon after these auctions are these eggs shipped? Is it immediately after payment received? Or, could it be anytime depending on the elements?

I would think that after payment is made, unless otherwise stated. I would PM the person you want to buy from for more info.

Most sellers say so in the auction. I would assume it would be pretty soon after sending payment but that's up to the seller.

I just posted an 24 Hour auction for 7+ Serama hatching eggs.

I try to ship Monday or Tuesday , but if someone wanted another day, I would work with them. The girls keep right on laying , so I always have fresh eggs.

Thanks, the only time I won on this, the seller PM'd me and didn't ship like two weeks while they were being gathered, when I got them, they were broken and what wasn't broken, I ended up hardboiling for the dogs since they were so dirty. They exploded the minute I put them in the water. I will remember to PM the seller before I bid and find out when they are supposed to ship

I have not had that happen except when I got eggs on one of the chains. Took over a month to get them, and one blew up in the Bator. But that is a rarity. Most sellers are good at wrapping and send out promptly. Sorry you had a problem.

Must be getting more common. I have had two boxes of eggs that were completely unusable (just lately) and had the sellers blame it on the few days the post office had them. Old eggs go rotten, fresh ones don't. However, if you watch who you are getting them from and ask around, you'll find out who to not swap with.

Not all trades are bad. I have gotten some really good ones.
Now as for when the eggs are sent. I always collect mine fresh so I may take a day or two but it shouldn't take more than that unless the hens completely stop laying.

I can send 12-14 cortunix quail eggs on Tuesday. $12 includes shipping to the continuous 48. $2 more to Alaska (no shipping to HI). Eggs will be collected fresh (I'll just have to incubate the ones from the last two days,

). I have no idea what my quail weigh and if they would be considered "Jumbo" but they are quite a bit larger than the ones I had a few years ago. I have hatched quite a few of these this year myself.
