I have a partridge sizzle hen and she is sooo pretty. At a show a couple of weeks ago a person entered one nearly identical to the one I have as a silkie rooster. She wasn't a rooster and she was a soft sizzle. So so pretty. I've lost my silver laced grey hen to the heat and my golden laced to a predator. I failed to lock their door one morning and when I came home she was the only one missing. No feathers or anything left behind so I have no idea if she was bird-napped or lunch. I still have my silver laced that is a smooth sizzle. She's broody now and boy is she evilJust hatched 2 of these & a little partridge si22le from Marie's eggs. They are ADORABLE![]()

No they aren't normally let out to free range. I had taken some out to take to the auction and left the door unlocked. The wind blew it open while I was gone. If she was sitting on eggs she would have hatched them long by now. This was back in the spring.Could your missing girl have gone off somewhere to sit on her eggs![]()
