Yes, she got a bite of the apple. Was always stealing from my dog. Missy, the dog, had just gotten soaked with the hose..hot day..she loved it..so she got a treat too. Now mind you, those that don't .. or haven't ever owned a red sex link..you need to know this..they .. love...treats! Always one of the first to come get them. Not sure who is worse at hogging the treats, the leghorn, or the sex link..lol My Missy is a good dog. Never has hurt a bird. She will shove at them, but never has bitten at them. Now 4 yrs. old.

Here she is with a baby. Love me a Golden R. Having her in the back keeps the hawks away.

The chickens will come up and chill with her on the back porch.

He was lying down and the chick snuggled underneath him. I got the chick because Lupin (the cockerel) was lonely (I got him from someone who couldn't keep roosters), now they're best friends.

My serial killer cat has made some new friends. I've been a wee bit nervous with her and the chickens, but today she was laying close to them almost watching over them. And this evening a wee "kiss". Bless them.
