Not sleeping. Just waiting for my Buttercups to catch up. I'm splitting RIR and Cochins out of the laying pen tomorrow. About 6-8 weeks, I'll be ready with them. (I'm trying to help the other Cochins from being squeezed!) Or, maybe I need to squeeze my Buttercups...

I'm still thinking about the long-crowers! And wondering if my neighbors would think I was abusing the chickens...

Okay... for those of us using broody hens, can we take an offer and ask for it to be postponed until someone is broody?
Also, the only purebreds I have are Buff orps and mille fleurs but they are molting right now. Do I just need to wait for the next egg chain? This chain is only for purebreds, right?

I think it is only purebreds...I'm not sure on the waiting, first time I've did this.... newbie here....

oh just went back to the first page..it says the eggs must be ready to ship by 2 weeks after the offer.
