Crazy-making things that your spouse does?

He runs in the house "just real quick!" covered with mud and cow poo!

I have informed him that running in the house both "real quick" and even "real slow" and not taking your boots off leaves a trail of nasty mess no matter how fast or slow you're going

If I had to predict a possible downfall of our marriage, it would be because of muddy/crappy footprints tracked through our house

So many, but eats candy and leaves the wrappers in the bag drives me bonkers, not sure why, right along with cuts his toenails with scissors and leaves them on the Br floor.

ETA: just have to add this: He has a pair of shoes at every door in our house, on the stoops (4 doors) and wears them half on, bending the heels down. I can't stand this.

When DH was little, his mom was sick alot and she taught her 5 kids to turn their socks into a ball to put in the wash and that way she didn't lose one. . .I told him he really didn't have to do that anymore (we have been married 40 years this Nov., so told him quite afew times) because he usually put them in the bathroom in the basket. He leaves everything else out and about, I can't even begin to name them but I am so use to it, I don't think twice about it to be honest anymore, but those socks BY GOLLY are gonna be in a ball. It's funny how "mama" can train her boys and the wife will NEVER get that out. I had a friend whose mom made her dad set down to pee and he shaved his armpits because he said it kept the BO odor down. I think about that once in awhile, and think maybe balled up socks aren't so bad after all. I see the reality of setting down to pee, but that sort of takes away the manly thing too if you think about it. I have always been jealous of guys not having to set down to pee, especially if you are in the woods!!!

My DH picks at the food when i am cooking. i tell him the more he eats standing up the less he will get sitting down. doesn't stop him, i always end up giving in and he gets all he wants. he always gets what he wants...gotta love him.

My DH is a little OCD about the house being organized and nothing being out of place...it actually drives me completely nuts that he thinks everything should be perfect (and that I should keep it that way 24/7). I know it drives him just as nuts that I don't keep it that way 24/7. This is really the only thing we ever argue about.

Other small things that irk me, but not that much, are leaving wads of candy wrappers in his pants pockets, leaving greasy fingerprints on the doors, and spending money w/o letting me know where it's going.

My DH is a pack rat. I stopped stressing over it a long time ago. Now I just get rid of stuff while he's at work.

My DH will pass gas in the truck then hit the window lock. When I punch him in the shoulder he asks What? Only time I wish I could smell nothing.

Singing in the morning to get the kids out of bed.

Mine will do that in bed and trap me under the covers. You would think that after 20 years of marriage he'd get tired of that game but noooooooooooooo he laughs just as hard every time.
