CRAZY question, but has anyone ever experienced this?!

And then there is my ginormous Splash Jersey Giant girl who is about the size of a goose, and every night she sits down upon and flattens my little black Ameracauna cockerel. (She is approx. 4 times bigger than he is) If you look in their run, all you see is a bit of black head sticking out from under her; but we know he is happy, because he makes the same happy purring noise that he makes when getting loved, so maybe he's just really into dominant females??

I used to have a turkey hen that was the constant companion to a brown leghorn rooster. She became too heavy for her legs and had to sit down often. One day I opened the coop door and discovered her sitting on Poppy Cock's head. I don't think she even knew he was there. I made her move and thought my beloved roo was dead. He was just unconscious though. He was never the same after that and died 2 weeks later. That's what he got for trying to look up her vent I guess.

ROFLMAO!!!

Cricket seems no worse for the wear after being sat on by Lila.... They've been doing this for weeks, and he is her constant companion, by her side or underneath her!

I have a turken that tries to mate with my cats. I also have a duck that will mate with anything that moves, lol. We joke about not turning our backs on him.

Guess it is a dominance thing (the roo and duck are both non aggressive though) or just a do it if it feels good thing, lol. I woudnt worry about it too much. Just see it as a quirk of having pets.

I had a white leghorn roo that use to mate with our shoes as soon as we get in the coop. We culled him though becuase he never mate with the hens. Deviated behavior.
