crazy turkey questions but don't you want to know too?

Thank you Ivan3. Very interesting and something I never did think of. It was even starring me in the face too...... lol. I always notice the color changes in the turkeys faces and the snood on the turkey. If they had feathers you won't see the colors so all that makes sense.

I thought maybe she was hot and wanted to cool off but I've noticed that she does it when it's cool out as well. I'm going to watch and see how the temps are the next time.

Great answers thank you.

Hi crj....I'm glad you asked the turkey questions because I just picked up two tiny baby turkeys at a swap meet today....I got a blue slate and a royal palm. They're quite different from chicks....Makes me worry a bit because they seem to do everything slower than a chick does.....

I hope they'll be fine and can't wait to watch them grow.....

No problem Sharon. I see things that are really different with turkeys and decided to ask questions no matter how strange. Besides, it's kind of fun to see different answers.

Now, will my tom strut everyday forever? or, is it just during the spring time? It has got to be exhausting for him...... lol.
