I have three teenage chicks and three month old chicks. One of the teenage hens has a cough. I have Terra-Vet 10 but not sure how to use it. Their water feeder is about 3-3 1/2 gal. Questing how much of the powder do I put in their water?. Or is there a better way to treat the hen?

It is rather hard to find dosages for Terravet 10, but I finally found an accurate one. Dosage is 1.5 tablespoonsful per gallon of water for the maximum 800 mg dosage. Change the water daily. I would only medicate the chicken who has symptoms, so she should be separated, possibly in a dog crate with food and medicated water. Then if any others get sick, start them on medicated water. Antibiotics will only treat bacterial diseases, not diseases caused by viruses or fungus/mold. Here is the dosage thread to read in post 3:

You may want to read through this article about common diseases and symptoms, and look at mycoplasma gallisepticum, infectious bronchitis, ILT or infectiouslaryngotracheitis, and infectious coryza which are the most common respiratory diseases to compare symptoms:

I'm not sure your pullet has a respiratory disease. She and the others would be showing other symptoms such as wheezing, sneezing, head shaking, bubbles in eyes, possible facial swelling in conjunction with coughing.
Have you noticed any of these symptoms from the coughing pullet or from your other chicks and pullets?
Terra Vet 10 treats MG/MS and ecoli. With MG and MS you would definitely be seeing the other symptoms I mentioned.
Ecoli can cause all kinds of serious problems, here's a link:
